The Ross County Health District is actively seeking a motivated Accreditation & Quality Improvement Coordinator within the Division of Health Promotion and Quality Improvement.
Position Description: The Accreditation and Quality Improvement Coordinator will assist in overseeing the Ross County Health District’s (RCHD) process for developing and submitting documentation to sustain accreditation to the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) and lead quality improvement projects.
The position will assist the agency in the implementation of strategies in the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) which includes working with community partners in resource allocation and development of community programs and policies. The position will also coordinate internal and external quality improvement committees and workgroups, utilize data to assess effectiveness and highlight areas of improvement, and develop and implement evaluation frameworks for monitoring and evaluation of grant goals and objectives.
This position will report to the Director of Health Promotion and Quality Improvement and will assist in the development of agency plans for workforce development, strategic planning, quality improvement, and performance management. The position will contribute to the attainment of goals, objectives, and activities set in various grant program workplans along with grant program staff.
Public health district accreditation is defined as the measurement of health district performance against a set of nationally recognized, practice-focused and evidenced-based standards; the issuance of recognition of achievement of accreditation within a specified time frame by a nationally recognized.
Pay Range: Pay is commensurate with education and professional experience.$20.56-$24.67
Hours / Location: Works a general schedule 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM M-F although flexible schedule may be required. Work in an office setting.
Status, Classification, SLSA Status: Full Time, Classified, Non-exempt.
