Community Health Worker – Contact Tracer -  Intermittent Position

The Ross County Health District is hiring individuals to assist with Contact Tracing during the COVID-19 pandemic. These are intermittent positions with varying work hours and remote work/work from home situations. The Community Health Worker (CHW)- Contact Tracer is responsible for interviewing individuals who had close contact with a COVID-19 infected individual and providing them with information and guidance to reduce the spread of disease.  The CHW-Contact Tracer will use a telephone to communicate with assigned contacts, obtain symptom information, refer contacts for testing, and provide instructions for quarantine and submit to public health staff through a web-based platform.  High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.  Associate degree in related field preferred.  The position is grant funded.
