Environmental Health Program Manager – Sewage and Water

Licking County Health Department

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE: Completion of post-secondary education in environmental health or related science field and five (5) years of experience in environmental health, or a master’s degree in environmental health, public health or other related field and two (2) years of experience in environmental health. Must be a Registered Sanitarian in the state of Ohio. Supervisory experience is preferred.

HOURS: Full Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00-5:00. Occasional evening and weekend hours.

SALARY: $49,337 - $56,738 Commensurate with qualifications and experience

DUTIES: Oversees environmental health programs including sewage, private water, public pools and spas, campgrounds, rabies control, and other program areas as assigned, supervises program staff, trains staff and regulated entities, ensures compliance with established environmental health standards, laws and regulations, collects and analyzes data, prepares reports and records, provides presentations to staff members, regulated entities, and the general public. Develop and monitor program and staff specific performance measures and implement quality improvement projects as necessary.
