Seeking a qualified candidate for the position of full time Public Health Nurse I. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse Ohio license, and a valid Ohio driver’s license with ongoing proof of auto insurance and current CPR certification.
Qualified candidates must be detail oriented, be able to multitask, work independently, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have experience with Microsoft Office programs.
The position responsibilities include: administering vaccines following agency policies, vaccine administration to control disease during a communicable disease outbreak, provide nursing services to area schools, communicable disease reporting, perform Tuberculosis testing, surveillance, and reporting, participate in home visits, and participate in community activities.
