The Delaware General Health District seeks a F/T Environmental Health Professional (Sanitarian or Epidemiologist) to join the Environmental Health Division, Residential Services Unit as a Sanitarian and/or Epidemiologist. Depending on qualifications, this position may be responsible for: Rabies and Vector program duties including collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, issuing orders and follow up for zoonotic disease exposures, GIS and Epidemiology duties for the division including disease investigations. Conducting plan reviews and performing compliance inspections in the sewage and water programs of various premises and facilities including but not limited to: Subdivisions, Lot Splits, Residential and Commercial sewage and water systems.
Requirements:
BA or BS degree, meeting the requirements of the State Board of Sanitarian Registration, Ohio driver’s license and current auto liability insurance. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required. Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing.
