Rate:     Dietitian, Nutritionist, or Registered Nurse: $21.63 - $23.00 per hour

Dietetic Technician: $20.19 - $22.00 per hour

Dietitian Job Duties:      

Determine client qualifications for the WIC program. Provide nutrition education and counseling to income-eligible women (pregnant, breastfeeding, and post-partum), infants, and children up to the age of five years.  Promote and support breastfeeding. Conduct nutrition assessments. Document notes in participant charts. Assign risk codes and appropriate food packages. Issue breast pumps. Follow WIC Policies and Procedures. Utilize a computer and texting program.  Prepare educational materials. Conduct outreach activities. Refer clients to other services. Obtain anthropometric measurements. Conduct hemoglobin tests.  Perform clerical duties as needed.  Attend meetings and complete required training. Assist with supervising the work of any Nutritionists or Dietetic Technicians on staff, which includes accepting referrals of high-risk participants, reviewing charts, observing appointments, and reviewing and approving education plans and materials developed.  Participate in Community Engagement Committee and assist with social media posts. Co-Lead Clermont Coalition for Activity and Nutrition (CAN) includes leading bimonthly meetings, sharing information, editing a monthly newsletter, and planning quarterly employee wellness challenges.
