Julie Miller, AOHC president, testified Wednesday before the House Finance Subcommittee on Health and Human Services regarding House Bill 166, the state biennial budget. AOHC is actively working on several issues of interest or concern to local health departments. Click here to read Julie's testimony in full. AOHC is working closely with several partners, including ODH, OEHA, OPHA, and Tobacco to 21 Coalition to improve upon the proposals currently in the bill.
OPHA PHN section also testified in support of an amendment being jointly requested by AOHC and OPHA to gain reimbursement for local health departments, including PHNs, for home visiting services.
