Program Manager/Director of Nursing

Delaware General Health District

 

The Delaware General Health District seeks a F/T Program Manager/Director of Nursing in the Personal Health Division to handle programming and personnel issues at the program/unit level for the Clinical Services Unit and handle all nursing specific programming in the agency.

Oversee and conduct various nursing programs including Immunizations, Newborn Home Visiting, BCMH and others.  Reporting to the Personal Health Director, will determine needs, develop plans and coordinate activities while monitoring the client service, efficiency, and quality of program areas.  Other responsibilities will include team management to accomplish program objectives staff performance appraisals, and oversight of grant deliverables and budget.

RN licensure, Bachelor’s degree in nursing, or other related public health field as approved by the Health Commissioner and Personal Health Director and 3 – 5 years related work experience required.  One year supervisory experience preferred.

Pay range starts at $30.00/hr, which may be adjusted for additional relevant experience.  An excellent paid time off, retirement, and benefit package is available.
