IT Systems Analyst

Franklin County Public Health

The IT Systems Analyst will utilize established guidelines and instructions to provide IT support to Franklin County Public Health. They will manage assigned projects from initiation to closure, assist end users in resolving hardware and software issues, diagnose problems and perform troubleshooting activities, analyze, research and resolve complex PC and software problems.

Duties Include:

• Assists with setup, management and maintenance of IT-related equipment, testing software, hardware, and other IT equipment
• Acts as liaison with Franklin County Data Center, other system vendors, the Ohio Department of Health and other external partners concerning IT issues
• Manage user account information, including rights, security and systems groups, runs network diagnostics and recommends resolutions
• Provide training to staff on IT related topics and use of software including the development of written processes and protocols for ease of use in presentation equipment
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of departmental information systems to better serve program demands
• Work with Emergency Preparedness team to develop cyber security protocols
• Applies informatics knowledge, concepts, methods, and tools to ensure effective programmatic use of information technology
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in computer science, information systems or other related field required.  
• A+ and Net+ certification
• Five years’ relevant experience required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through FCPH’s provider; some evening and weekend hours required.  

Salary: $23.29/hour to $29.11/hour - This is a non-exempt position.
